LandscapeLightMI is an Oakland County, Michigan landscape lighting design-build firm. We design custom low-voltage and solar LED lighting systems for residential estates, commercial properties, and HOA common areas across Metro Detroit. Every project starts with an on-site walkthrough and ends with a system built to outlive the mortgage.

What We Do

We handle the full lighting project lifecycle: on-site design walks, written lighting plans with fixture specs and zone maps, installation with licensed electricians where line voltage is involved, and ongoing service for systems we install and systems we inherit.

Our work concentrates on four areas:

  • Residential outdoor lighting. Uplighting, path lights, facade wash, patio and pool zones.
  • Commercial landscape lighting. Office parks, retail centers, country clubs, hotels, HOAs.
  • Solar LED lighting. Sign lighting, remote pathways, properties without cable access.
  • Custom design plans. Written lighting plans delivered as PDFs, install ready.

Why We Exist

Most landscape lighting systems in Metro Detroit were sold as add-ons by landscape crews who had no specialty training. The fixtures are hardware-store plastic, the cable is undersized, and the transformer is maxed out from day one. Half of those systems fail within five seasons. Homeowners assume the technology is flawed. It is not. The technology is excellent. The installs are cheap.

We built LandscapeLightMI to do it the other way. Specialty firm, brass and copper fixtures, properly sized transformers, 12-gauge cable hub-wired at every fixture, and a written plan the customer keeps.

We take projects elsewhere in Metro Detroit for commercial accounts and referrals. If you are outside our usual service area, call anyway.
